Carers Resource provides dedicated support for young carers who look after a parent, sibling or family member. The service offers one-to-one support, youth clubs, mentoring, and fun trips and activities during school holidays. Support focuses on wellbeing, resilience, confidence and helping young carers achieve their potential.
Parent/carer groups also run in the Selby and Harrogate areas.
Young carers may provide physical care, emotional support, household tasks or spend significant time worrying about the person they care for..
