Pregnancy in Mind (NSPCC)
Pregnancy in Mind is an 8-week perinatal group intervention delivered by trained professionals after the first trimester.
It aims to reduce the impact of parental anxiety and depression during pregnancy by strengthening relationships, emotional understanding and coping skills.
The programme is built around six evidence-based themes:
Mindfulness meditation
Active relaxation
Psychoeducation and coping skills
Social support
Developing connection with baby
Couple and co-parenting relationship (communication & conflict management)
Support is nurturing, preventative and designed to help parents feel more confident and emotionally prepared.
