The Independent Visitor (IV) Scheme provides volunteer befrienders for children and young people in care.
IVs are independent from Children’s Social Care and offer a consistent, trusted adult relationship.
Young people and their IV can choose activities together, such as:
Going for a walk
Coffee and a chat
Cinema trips
Football or other hobbies
Trying new activities
