The Principle Trust Children’s Charity provides free, week-long respite holidays for children and families across Yorkshire who have experienced adversity, including trauma, abuse, poverty, poor mental wellbeing, serious illness or disability. These breaks are designed to improve mental health and wellbeing, strengthen family relationships and offer relief from the pressures and challenges families face. The charity supports whole families, ensuring children and their caregivers can rest, reconnect and enjoy time together away from daily stressors.

A referral is required.
Professionals such as social workers, family support workers, school SENDCOs, GPs or other trusted organisations can make a referral.
